Genetics studies using the excellent Drosophila breeding simulation at Virtual Fly. The lab assigns 4 Drosophila traits to students and requires them to determine the genetics of each of the 4 traits (recessive, dominant, X-linked, lethal, etc.) as well as determining the genetic relationships between the 4 traits (epistasis, linkage, etc.). It would be best to complete the Chi-Square analysis lab before this so students understand the statistics behind that test performed by the Virtual Fly simulation.
